Be Professional,  Niger new CP  Tasks Police Officers

The new Police Commissioner in Niger State, Ibrahim Sabo, has admonished officers and men of the command to conduct themselves professionally while discharging their duties .


Sabo who disclosed this to officers and men of the state command said he would build on the success of his predecessor, CP. Paul Yakadi.

Sabo replaced Yakadi who was newly promoted to the rank of AIG in charge of zone 5 Benin, Edo State.

Sabo enlisted into Nigeria Police Force as a cardet ASP on March, 1988 and he holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from University of  Maiduguri .

Until his recent posting, he was commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Police Command, commissioner of Police Force CID Annex, Lagos State and Deputy commissioner of Police Administrations, Staff College, Jos.

"The new CP is bringing with him wealth of experience gathered over years of selfless service to the nation.

"He wishes to assure the good people of Niger state round-the-clock security.

"I therefore,seek the cooperation of all in the fight against crimes and criminality as security is everybody's business, " the Command  Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Abubakar, stated in  a statement, noting that  Sabo is the 33rd Commissioner of Police in the state
